From November 18, 2022, the ground service providers Menzies and Dnata working at London Heathrow Airport have been called to a three-day strike. Terminals 2, 3 and 4 are expected to experience significant disruption, cancellations and delays.
The union Unite demands significantly higher wages for the employees of the two companies. It is not yet clear how many of the approximately 700 will actually take part in the three-day strike. However, it is expected that the customer Qatar Airways will be particularly badly affected, as it has launched additional flights to Doha.
