The US airline Hawaiian Airlines increased an existing Boeing 787-9 order by two aircraft shortly before the end of 2022. The carrier has ordered 12 pieces, taking into account the most recent transaction.
The original purchase agreement was concluded in 2018. This was expanded by two B787-9s by means of an additional agreement. Additionally, as part of the amendment, Hawaiian and Boeing have agreed to delay deliveries of ten Boeing 787-9s scheduled for delivery in the fourth quarter of 2022.
Deliveries of these Boeing 787-9 aircraft will begin in the current quarter of 2023 and extend into 2027, with one Boeing 787-9 now scheduled for delivery in 2023 and three Boeing 787-9 aircraft now for 2024 .
