The Norwegian group has reached the quarter of 2024 and has a total of 2.13 million NOK (188 million euros).

The increase is due to improved utilization, increased capacity and a record quarter by the Norwegian subsidiary Widerøe. For the first time, Widerøe carried over a million passengers and recorded 99,000 additional travelers compared to the previous year.

In total, the Norwegian group carried 8.2 million passengers in the quarter, 690,000 more than in the previous year. Profit before taxes is NOK 2 billion (about 177 million euros) and the group has liquid assets of around 1.02 billion euros. The fleet has 86 aircraft, including 22 Boeing 737 MAX 8s, with a total of 49 flights operated. The winter flight season will be supplemented by new routes, including to Dubai and Egypt. CEO Geir Karlsen brings the strong booking growth for vacation and business trips to a boil.
